Banaras Hindu University is all set to take fresh batch of students in its various UG and PG programs and the applications have already started raining from the start of the year for different courses. Those students who have applied for different programs can look forward to BHU admit card from the official website of Banaras Hindu University. It would be available for download one week prior to the commencement of the exam. There is no provision under which the candidates can claim for the communication through post, the university has made no provision to send the hall ticket by post.
But there is one specific advantage granted to the candidates who are applying for BHU is pertaining to the admit card intimidation. The candidates who have registered will have to provide their email id and phone number, these application channels would be used to communicate with respect to the entry ticket. It is therefore necessary that the candidates are sharing a valid email id and active phone number.
Download of the hall Ticket
The process of download of the admit card for Banaras Hindu University is pretty simple; the candidates have to simply fill in their email ID which is also treated as a registration ID to download the hall ticket.
Once the candidates have completed the download part, the next thing that is very important is to check the details on the admit card. Most of the times, there are a lot of discrepancies pertaining to the information printed on the hall ticket and candidates must check and inform the college authorities prior to the examination for any correction whatsoever. The communication has to be done with the Office of the Controller of the Examinations, BHU, Varanasi on the Help Desk number. There is also possibility to communicate through email.
How to Approach with the BHU Admit Card/Hall Ticket
As per the guidelines of the university, the candidate are required to paste a recent passport size photograph on the space provided on the admit card. The photograph used must be self-attested by the candidate. It is necessary to carry the hall ticket at the time of counselling and it is recommended that the candidates are giving utmost care to the hall ticket. Tampering, scribbling and mishandling the hall ticket will amount to difficulties at the time of counselling, highly recommended to all candidates that they should preserve the hall ticket and keep it in safe confinement.

- The candidates must reach the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.
- It is mandatory to carry own instruments like pen, pencil as no borrowing will be entrained at the examination hall under any given circumstances.
- Blue and Black pen should be used in the examination. The candidates must ensure that they are not using any other pen, at the same time, overwriting on the OMR sheet is not entertained.
